New Spa Alert!

Cashing in on the popularity of its Cochrane Street location, Iyara’s second spa opened last month in the increasingly trendy Johnston Road/Ship Street area. It follows the same color scheme as the original venue—with sumptuous spa thrones and organic greens and browns. The layout is friendly and intimate, more like someone’s house than a spa, thanks to the stairs leading from the mani-pedi zone to the treatment rooms, both of which overlook a secluded garden terrace outside. Can’t believe it’s Wan Chai? Go see it for yourselves.

The Future is Here

We’re just going loopy for Chantecaille’s Future Skin foundation. It’s a super lightweight gel formula with a high water content, meaning that it blends into the skin flawlessly, and without any of those embarrassing “tide marks” that you can get from regular foundations. It’s also actively good for the skin—extracts of green tea, aloe, arnica and chamomile make it soothing and ideal for sensitive types, while its oil-free formula makes it perfect for skin that secretes excess sebum. The latest shade has been developed especially for Asian fans of the brand. The lightest formulation yet, it’s ideally suited to sun-phobic, porcelain complexions.

They continue to operate Elemis Day Spa, The Beautiful Skin Center in Admiralty and The Victorian Spa at Disneyland, as well as supplying products from brands Elemis, Murad and Caron to spas and individuals alike.
