Recap by phillip woo
Favourite King Miles quickened nicely with one wider out to take control 50m out after a patient ride wide towards the rear for a first win after catching the eye in two other starts. Lucy In The Sky showed a good turn of foot to get up late for second after making his run second last following a very slow start. He's shown improvement. Hayday just got up for third after a box-seat run. He has turned the corner to place third in three straight runs across both tracks. Glory Elite found a few too good after briefly finding the front 150m out after a pace-stalking run. He is not far off a winning run. Sea Sapphire was on his tippy toes 100m out after leading as expected from gate three. He has found it harder carrying more weight in back-to-back runs after a win. Enjoy Golf plugged on one paced after a prominent run. It was an okay effort on debut. Talents Supremo ran on without threatening travelling fourth last along the fence. He is better at the Valley. Lucky Quality dipped and unseated his rider at the start.
